We currently have a position available for an Interior Designer who is passionate about design, creative, energetic, technically skilled and has strong client/vendor relations and communication skills. In this job, you will address the issues of our clients (style, budget, and schedule) and enjoy the challenge of dealing with sophisticated real estate developers. Our goal is to prepare this valuable junior designer into an expert in interior design, and to transform them into a skilled senior designer.


Your responsibilities include:


  • Coordinate with clients, internal team including design director or design principal, design assistants
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of design documentation
  • Maintain and protect the design (based on client vision)
  • Understanding of budgets (construction, furnishings)
  • Understanding of contract and fee
  • Maintain schedule
  • Provide Construction Observation (with project manager oversight)- as needed to protect the design intent
  • Project product budget and procurement oversight
  • Furnishings selection including art and accessories




  • 5-7 years of experience in the field of interior design
  • Strong creative and visioning abilities
  • Strong understanding of the design process from initial client meeting to completion
  • Exemplary people skills
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit (plus other computer design and rendering mediums)
  • Strong knowledge of business computer programs (word, excel)
  • Ability to work on multiple projects
  • Highly desired: LEED AP and NCIDQ
