Bozzuto, a premier integrated real estate services company, tapped Hartman Design Group once again to design the common and amenity spaces at Cathedral Commons, an upscale property and mixed-use development located in the Cathedral Heights neighborhood of Washington, D.C.
Hartman Design Group crafted a timeless design for the larger North Building. To differentiate the two buildings and attract DC's professional "renter by choice", the Bozzuto team and HDG designers chose a warm palette that blended gold metals, teak wood, creams and espresso. The goal was to create a five star boutique hotel aesthetic in the lobby, clubroom, fitness center, corridors and outdoor amenities. Custom, metallic wall murals were designed to be luxurious as well as memorable. "The building is all texture and elegance with just the right amount of sparkle", says Phyllis Hartman, President of Hartman Design Group.
No longer a sleepy D.C. neighborhood, Cathedral Commons has transformed the corner of Wisconsin Avenue and Idaho Street NW into an upscale, urban and energized area.
