1111 20th Street
Washington, D.C.

Located at the corner of 20th Street and Connecticut Avenue, NW, this building is a repurposing office to multifamily conversion from the former Peace Corps Headquarters to a residential apartment building and Hartman Design Group is thrilled to be the interior design team on the project.

The adaptive reuse of 1111 20th Street will provide a home for savvy residents who desire urban living and access to high-end retail, restaurants and employment options. Located a few blocks south of Dupont Circle, the location is highly walkable, teaming with vibrant culture, and in close proximity to the Metro. With approximately 13,000 square feet of amenity space, the building will feature resort-style living in an urban center and HDG is here for it.

The 185,000-square-foot former office building is planned to offer a Class A experience in about 160 residential units, mixed between one-and two-bedroom units. Lucky residents will enjoy a luxury experience, complete with rooftop patio, gym and ground-floor retail. The building was actually the first project Willco developed in the 1960s – by the current Chairman’s grandfather.

Take a look at the concept boards for an idea of what we envision.
