Converted to multi-family by Tasea Investment Co., this former office building located in the Westend of Georgetown, is now a sleek, modern residential building with 190 apartments.
With warm and rich textures, amplified by exciting colors and textures in each space of the building, the HDG interior design team delivered residents a curated interior experience in this urban neighborhood. The unique design challenge was to transform an austere commercial lobby and common space into a sophisticated, inviting, intimate residential experience packed full of as many amenities as possible.
The lobby is a sanctuary for the senses. Residents are greeted by a welcoming fireplace designed with niches for custom sculptures. Creating a desire to find out what surprises can be found above, cantilevered rooms project from the second floor over the lobby space. From an unoccupied office building to a dynamic, upscale multi-family property, the HDG design team completes the building’s timeless, urban look with bold, contemporary elements that make this one of DC’s most unique residences.
