There’s a new affordable housing and senior independent living development coming to life in Fairfax, Virginia in 2024 and Hartman Design Group is thrilled to be designing the multifamily interiors within!
Situated across from George Mason University, One University is the redevelopment of Robinson Square, an aging public housing community owned by Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority (FCRHA). It was demolished and is new construction on the site.
The new development will include 120 market rate multifamily apartments, 120 senior independent living apartments, and 333 student housing units, as well as a community meeting space for the FCRHA incorporated into the multifamily apartment building.
Both the senior and family portions are projected to be completed by summer of 2024.
HDG designed amenity spaces will include market-rate level designed spaces including lobbies, club room, leasing office, mail room, dog wash, laundry, outdoor spaces and more.
