The eyecatching lobby of Reese Tower in Alexandria's Carlyle Crossings, one of several amenity spaces designed by Hartman Design Group of Rockville, MD.

Carlyle Crossing – Reese Tower – Attractive multi-family interior design
Alexandria, VA

Reese Tower is designed to appeal to a career-oriented renter who values curated comfort, livable design and abundant amenities including specialized remote workspaces, a “Ted Talk” studio, active social common areas, a cafe and a fitness center.

Intended for the technological residents at the peak of their careers who appreciate the benefits of living in a multi-family building, this project called for visually appealing amenity space interior design of such spaces as sound-insolated podcast rooms and a conference room in the lobby mezzanine, a cafĂ© with work booths and a “Ted Talk Studio” for presentations, group learning opportunities and communal on-screen entertainment events.

Reese Tower is one of three buildings within the 930,000 SF of mixed-use development that makes up Carlyle Crossing. The 161-unit multi-family apartment tower boasts an impressive luxury amenity package. HDG took on this project and created an attractive interior design program to invoke happiness, and wellness, build community and pamper residents in grand ways and through small details.

The interior design in this multi-family structure works with the architectural design so spaces are filled with light, greenery, and authentic, sustainable finishes. A bubbling water feature and fireplace greet residents, making a connection to nature that flows through the common spaces.

Other attractive multi-family interior considerations designed to appeal to tenants include co-working spaces, soundproof podcast studios, conference rooms, a fitness center, a demonstration kitchen, and a rooftop pool with outdoor grilling and dining spaces. The rooftop also has an indoor-outdoor bar area with a fireplace, outdoor lounge areas, and views of the George Washington Masonic National Memorial.
